You're On The Clock.

Welcome to Automalevolence.

"[Automalevolence] is a series of FNaF fan games that aim to reinterpret the gameplay of the series and streamline the lore so it is more clear, concise, and less sci-fi." - Your Average Joe

"A unique interpretation on FNaF, using hindsight to fix issues from the original series." - A Reliable Consultant

"It's pretty ballin', yo!" - Clueless Mother, aged 37

"[I know] absolutely nothing [about Automalevolence]." - Informed Commentator

Automalevolence aims to retell the story of Five Nights at Freddy's in a more retrospective and conscious way, subverting some elements of the original story while retaining other integral characters and plot points, changing the graphical and visual style, aiming for more realistic characters and settings, without abandoning the dread-filled atmosphere and ominous setting, and reimagining the gameplay while holding true to the Sit-N-Survive genre.

Disclaimer

This series is not a remake of Five Nights at Freddy's, like FNaF + was going to be, (you don't have to take us down, Scott!), but a from-the-ground-up reimagining. While some of the games may be similar to the originals on a superficial level, and some characters may still do certain things that their inspirations did, we intend to make the gameplay loops stand out compared to the originals, and most importantly, the story more cleanly delivered.

The main purpose of Automalevolence: Playable Teaser (PT) is to demonstrate to future players that we not only intend to make this game series, we can make this game series.

Aside from that main purpose, Automalevolence: PT is intended to introduce features which will play a part in, characters and assets that will appear in, and foreshadow future plot elements from, our upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's fangame series, Automalevolence.

That being said, features will vary from game to game, and while certain assets and character models which appear in Automalevolence: PT were designed to be used in later games, the models, designs, and concepts presented are are subject to change.

The "events" of Automalevolence: PT are not canon to the upcoming Automalevolence story.

We are Rewrought Games, an indie developer group aiming to retell internet stories with a different heart, and we're only currently working on Automalevolence with a few other projects in conception taking place in the same universe.

If, after playing AM:PT, you become inclined to contribute whatever skills you may have, consider contacting us about how you feel you may be able to help. Skilled prop modelers, texture artists, animators and programmers would be welcome additions to the team. Our contact email is rewroughtgames@gmail.com.
